Molly Hershey-Arista, MA, is a Principal Research Associate with 20 years of expertise in research and data collection including project management, instrument development, large-scale survey administration, in-depth interviews, analysis, reporting, and the presentation of research findings. She specializes in research at the postsecondary level, including supporting institutions in complying with the Federal Clery Act and the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act and leading the associated federal data collections, and managing data collection with postsecondary students nationwide for both the 2015 and 2019 AAU Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Assault and Misconduct.
As data collection and analysis task lead for NSF’s Math and Science Partnership Monitoring Information System, she directed the collection of, and reporting on, 13 years of data from partnerships between postsecondary institutions, higher education faculty, and K-12 districts.
In addition to her federal clients, Hershey-Arista is currently working on projects for clients including the Wallace Foundation and the Verizon Foundation. Earlier in her career, Hershey-Arista served as a Development Officer at New Visions for Public Schools in New York City. She has managed the production of a variety of technical deliverables, including dashboards for data visualization, and has authored numerous papers and technical reports.
