Amanda Hare, PhD, is a Principal Research Associate for Education Studies with expertise in mixed-methods studies. Her work focuses on postsecondary education interventions, including those designed to support academic outcomes for postsecondary students who are parents. She has directed evaluation and technical assistance (TA) contracts, leading work in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Hare has worked with a broad range of clients, including ED, the New York State Education Department (NYSED), the Seattle Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL), the University of North Carolina System Student Success Innovation Lab, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She directs an impact evaluation of a college tuition and supports program for Seattle DEEL, an examination of the Virginia Community College System’s Single Stop initiative to provide basic needs supports to students as part of ED’s Regional Educational Laboratory Appalachia, and an evaluation of TA services provided to NYSED charter schools.
